Faery Tales & A Giveaway

Hi All,

Here it is after the girls attempts to derail my stitching time this week. I have guessed that I will be finished some time at the end of April/start of May. Maybe earlier if I can somehow convince the girls that they don't need me to cook and my DH that I don't need to clean lol.

I also managed to finish these two Barbie dresses this week for a friends daughter.

Those wonderful people over at HEAD have had a coupe of sales over the last week and these got added to my one day pile.

Here they are and I'm going to have to take of the date stamp I think as it keeps covering the stitching:)

Bella(who it's for) spotted this last night and said wow look how much you have done in one night. Me- Actually I started it last year babe. Bella- Looking at it then me Oh.

And that is my weekend break from Faery Tales which will back into my hands tonight when my ladies are in bed. The stash clean out continues and I will be having another giveaway this Friday.

Faery Tales & Floral Beauty

Hi All,

Finally started the backstitch on Floral Beauty last night. I'm going to leave the G where it is for now and wait till the end of the project and see how I'm feeling about it then.

Faery Tales is coming along nicely.

Now I can see the end I'm thinking how I'm going to frame it. At the moment I think it will be either be an  older gothic style frame or a simple silver frame. I am undecided about matts but if I do have one it would probably be navy blue...with a silver matt under that... or maybe...

Hi All,

It's a little on the cool side here this morning but no doubt that will change by this afternoon.
Here is Izzy after a couple more hours. It was mainly confetti last night so it moved a bit slow.

And the same for the Santa ornament although I'm feeling a bit proud of the fact that stitching on 25ct is really not that bad and I can do it.

New Start!

Hi All,
After watching everyone elso making awesome new starts I finally got to make one to. This is Up On The Rooftop  ornament by HAED.  It also marks the first time I have used anything other then aida. I am doing this on 25ct lagauna 1 over 1. I will say after stitching on that then moving back to the 20ct aida I'm using on Izzy the aida and using 2 threads felt huge.
So here is my measly start.

And for a small ornie it still has 4 pages to work so fingers crossed it will be done for Christmas and look like this

Izzy still grows a little more each week.

I got a few more charts to add to the stash pile.
From HAED I got The Game Is On. I'm thinking of doing this on a hand dyed blue.

I don't think I will be doing the writing when I do start it but who knows by then lol.

And from Tilton crafts ( Tilton Crafts ) this is called Champ by Judith Gibson

They have lots of awesome charts and are well worth a check out since at the moment they also have a sale on.

I also got my prize from Ewa this week which was a nice big piece of 18ct aida, needles and a tin to keep them in(the needles that is lol). Thankyou Ewa!
