New stash

Hi All,

On the weekend I went to the Melbourne craft and quilt fair and picked up some new stash. No new charts although it was very tempting.

Two pieces of handy dyed 28ct evenweave in sunset and frangipani for who knows what and some more knitting lace for Barbie dresses.

 The fabric came from Sewitall .

In stitching news Santa is being a tease and still not showing his face. Although his beard has started to make an appearance.

Princess Izzy & The Afghan

Hi All,

Here is Izzy after another week. This one is my fave at the moment to work on. I love the colours in it.

Excuse the shadow puppets going on. Hopefully I will be getting a new camera soon instead of using my phone lol.

I also enjoy working on Floral Beauty when I get the chance and here is where it's at.

 And I'm happy to say that after 7 years of having kids in nappies Hannah is now toilet trained and a big girl in her own right. It was a bit strange this week not to be buying nappies after so long but we did go undie shopping much to Hannah's delight. Me- I still wish for my little baby back. She has grown up way to fast.But I guess they all do that right?

Barbie dresses x 3

Hi All,

As usual when I knit Barbie dresses they come in threes. This is the first time I have knitted using lace and I think it makes for a pretty finish.

After I finished them I went on a bit of a lace buying spree so expect to see some more soon.
These are just my own made up pattern. I am going to write it out in the next couple of days and I will post here.

Santa has a cuff now and I changed the Krenik out for B5000. So it will end up a little less sparkly but nevermind.

Page finish & New stash

Hi All,

Last night I finished the first page on Piper Tir N Org and made a small start on page 2.

Still not looking like much but at the end of this page the sky starts to break through.

Last HAED sale I got this chart. I'm thinking of stitching it on a hand dyed but nothing to strong as there is a lot of white to be stitched and I wouldn't want it showing through. This is Punch Of Color Girls 1 by Hannah Lynn

Knitting finishes

Hi All,

Barbies wardrobe has expanded again with these three finishes. I came up with the patterns by myself.

And I would just like to say the hair is done by my girls who like to go for the' haven't seen a hairbrush since I got out of the box look'.

This weekend it was Santas turn for some stitching on so here is Up On The Rooftop ornament.

Just a short one today. Here is Izzy for this week.

The girls went really well at the movies. Although Hannah went to sleep half way through despite how loud it was. We seen Monsters University and it was a great movie.

New Starts

Hi All,

I have started two new knitting projects that I keep forgetting to show. The first will be a long term project that I don't have to concentrate on at all. Just straight knitting until I get the length I want. It will be a baby blanket when it is finished, although Bella has claimed for her(And no it's not for me!).

My other cast on is this top/dress. This is meant to be for a charity but Charlotte want this for Kinder. (Spotting a theme yet?)

And Up On The Rooftop looks like this after the weekend.This is for my hubby who claims I never make anything for him. I guess three daughters don't count?lol.

It's school holidays here at the moment and tomorrow we are off to the movies to see Monsters University. The girls were very well behaved last time so fingers crossed they are good this time as well. Apart from that playdates have been booked and I think the rest tof the time will be spent hanging out around the house.
