Santa & A New Pony

Hi All,

Santa went slowly slowly this week due to some pretty confetti areas.

And HAED are having a 50% of sale at the moment and this little beauty came to live in my stash.

I'm trying my hardest to finish Santa before I start this one but I have cut the fabric out for it. So hard to resist!lol.
Sooo want a horse back in my life.

Almost scraped through with a page finish on Izzy but it was not to be. After this page there is one more which is only 12 stitches across so almost done with the top row.

Santa & some stash

Hi All,

Santa is getting more of his face filled in and don't they always look strange until finished.

And some new stash that didn't come from HAED but instead deramores . Two new knitting books. I like Sirdar knitting books as the patterns range from baby up to 7 years of age. They also have a few options for finishing things of differently.

Barbie dresses

Hi All,

Thanks for the nice words on Faery Tales yesterday. It is going to be hung up on the weekend on the main wall in the lounge room.
Hannah is a lot better now and back to finding/causing trouble wherever she goes lol.

I finished some more Barbie dresses this week.

I was going to add some lace to the top of the dress as well but thought maybe it would be a over the top. Then again they are Barbie dresses.

And Piper turn was this week. I don't know if you can see it or not but there seems to a bit of a difference in the new black skein I started. Hubby can't see it. I can but I also know where to look. In any case I'm not pulling all the black out and will just keep going. I've never worried about dye lots before but might start paying closer attention now.

Knitting finish

Hi All,

Finally after a few mindless hours spent stocking stitching away I finished Charlottes jumper/tunic/dress thingy.

I'm not sure whether to add something to the blue up the top or just leave it. The skirt on it is pretty busy. And I guess in any case the new owner will need to give me permission before making  any alterations lol.

And Santa is slowly coming to life. But for someone who spends a lot of time in the North Pole he sure has a fairly tanned face.
