Just a quick one today on how Izzy is looking after this week. Almost finished the butterfly but wow the confetti in the wings lol.

Bit of everything

Hi All,

Bit 1- A teddy has started to make his way on to Santas sack. I love how you can be stitching away and see nothing and all of a sudden something pops out.

Bit 2- More Barbie dresses have been made for my stall next month.(It's now official and paid for. Don't know whether to be scared, nervous,excited or all three)

Bit 3- About 12 months ago I brought some self covering buttons with the intention of making hair elastics. Today I finally got around to making them after Bella found them tucked away.

I can see these being a bit addictive so I'm sure more are to follow. Plus as you can see some little fingers thought them quite nice as well.

It's starting to get out of the trees and into the sky which is a lot more stitcher friendly:)

Hi All,

I wish I could keep up this average, at the moment I have finished a page a week on various wips this month. I started page 3 on Santa this weekend.

So now I'm hoping I can finish him by November and enter him in our local show.

Izzy & Some wooly stash

Hi All,

Here is Izzy with a little butterfly starting to make her way on to the scene.

I added this hand dyed wool to my stash. I was very lucky to be chosen the winner of the blue yarn when I brought the other two. They were dyed by the very talented Kelly from the handmaden . There you will find a link to her etsy shop.

Wooly stash

Hi All,

I love a trip to the mailbox when this is what you get.

The purple/white wool is self striping and the green and red you can see in it turn out like little flowers when knitted up.
They other wool has little dolls entwined in it.

Cuteness plus I think. I've already ordered some more in pink.

I've almost finished page 2 on Santa and all going well can hopefully have it done in time for Christmas.

Santa & Some ponies

Hi All,

Santa is coming along a bit quicker at the moment. I thought his face was looking strange but as the last few stitches go in it looks quite nice(at least I think so lol).

This weekend I was sorting through some files on the computer and came across these. They are just a couple of the Shetland ponies I used to have before I had kids. Hopefully as the girls get a little older I will have some extra time to have them again.
