Guess Who's Back? Back again...

Hi All,

Is anyone still around? After  a break I am going to try and get blogging again and rather then fill you in on all the going on's I will just fill in as I go.

So since last time Princess Izzy got finished. she was stitched on 20ct aida two over one and is available from Heaven And Earth Designs.

And joining her in the finish pile is Piper Tir N Org with the stats as Izzy.

Consumed is now my main squeeze and is being stitched on 25ct laguna one over one. She was from Tilton Crafts but is now sadly retired.

I have had quite a few knitting finishes but the doll sleeping bags are my latest finishes. The purple yarn is from Spotlight and is from the mill ends and the multi colour was a Premier Yarns sweet roll.

My crochet finishes look like this and I'm on a bit of a star blanket kick at the moment. The red, yellow and black one is crocheted from Marvel Yarns. And the ducky one is also marvel yarn from spotlight.

And that is about it for now. I have three new stitching wips that I will show off next week when I take their latest progress shots.

I hope everyone is keeping well in these challenging times and I promise I will be back sooner then later.

Stitching and stuff

Hi All,

The weeks seem to be flying away at the moment! I think oh yeah I will update my blog tonight but forget and then its the next week lol.

Anyway here is how I spent that week.
(And excuse the wonky stitchy photos but I usually take them on a Friday night with my phone on one hand while I use the other hand to keep Elsa ( my over excited dog) away)

Princess Izzy
Consumed

My knitting consisted of these six matching Barbie dresses that the customer uses for table props on her dance nights.

And my next order which a twin set in 4ply cotton. I have finished the first half and am on to the cardigan.

And to top if off the ever stunning Alicia who goes by the title of the crafty princess sent me this beautiful chart.

Izzy & Consumed

Hi All,

Here is Princess Izzy this week

Have to love blocks of colour for fast progress lol

Consumed this week

Now her hair is coming in it is getting harder to only be working on her once a week but since my focus is on finishing Izzy it will have to do(oh the problems a stitcher faces)

I also used up a bit of my yarn stash with this lap sized crochet granny square rug with ate up six balls. With the kids on holidays for the past six weeks this was a great go to project with no concentration needed.

And in good news for me I haven't even replaced it...yet...

Wipocalypse #1

Hi All,

Back to the start and here is my starting point on my three for this year.(Ignore the crookedness of the photos bad photographer here)

Piper Tir N Org
Goal: Get onto the last row which means six page finishes.
Princess Izzy
Goal: To finish her! This is ten pages of stitching so with all three kids at school this year it just might be possible lol

Consumed
Goal: To get to the end of this row which is about 2 and a half pages

In knitty news this week I'm happy to report that I have finished Charlottes and Isabellas mermaid blankets.

But that is not the end of the mermaid blankets as Bellas bst friend would love one as well as my niece so watch this space lol

Consumed, Izzy & Cake

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a great New Years. We had a quite one at home with the kids wanting to stay up. Hannah tried hard but when someone let some fireworks of at 11 pm we cheated and told her that was the New Year so we could get her off to bed.
The other three seen it in but then went straight to bed.
The fourth child is my beautiful niece who stayed for a week and lived in the pool with Bella.

It was also my birthday and my friend made this super awesome cake.

Stitching wise my New Year started like this

Bye bye 2015(Wipocalpse #12)

Hi All,

Here is my crafty wrap up for this year :)

As ever my cross stitch is my crafty favourite thing to do. This year was a novelty as Igot to stitch in the daylight hours while Hannah was at kinder as well as stitch after the kidlets bedtime(and a bit after mine as well)
Consumed at the start of the year looked like this
 And looks like this
My goal was to finish the first row - I got about 5 stitches past the centre arrow of the chart so not to bad since she only get to come out to play for a couple of hours a week. Next years goal - the end of the row.

Next up Piper Tir N Org at the start

 And now
And no he has not faded but I think a new camera might be needed lol. My goal was to finish six pages on him and I did! Next years goal - another six pages.

And my favourite wip Princess Izzy started like this

And will see out 2015 like this
My goal for her was to have her finished  but I'm not complaining. Next year - Finish her off.

That was my stitchy year but I also enjoy other crafts as well. I also have a stall
at our local market once a month so am always doing something for that as well as taking custom orders for various things( a cockatiel inspired baby beanie being my fave) so here is  photo round up.

My favourite thing about having a blog is all the awesome people I have 'met' and the friendships that have happened. One of the most stunning I have met is The Crafty Princess aka Alicia who sent me this awesome Christmas present,

Finally thankyou to everyone who has read, followed, commented and shared this year with me. I still enjoy blogging and seeing everyone elses work. It is all really inspiring to me. I hope you all have a happy, heathy and stitchy 2016.
Cheers, Sharine
