Stitching and other wips

Hi All,

Sorry I missed last week but I'm back this week with a few things starting with Consumed which is looking like this after this months rotation.

I am loving stitching on her face and watching her come to life. She is from Tilton Crafts but is sadly retired.

I also got the chance to test this crochet pattern which is due to be released on May 11th from Mayhem and Majesty

This is only my second filet crochet blanket but I love it and the pattern is super easy to follow with a graph and written directions. The top and bottom colours are marvel 8ply and the middle colour is panda magnum.

I think I will add a border but for now it's done as I have a few orders to get stuck into as well at the moment.

And speaking of orders this is one I completed this week. The pattern is a freebie from Lincraft and I used their fairy floss yarn to knit them.

And that is all for this week so until next week stay safe and happy crafting.
Cheers, Sharine

Guess Who's Back? Back again...

Hi All,

Is anyone still around? After  a break I am going to try and get blogging again and rather then fill you in on all the going on's I will just fill in as I go.

So since last time Princess Izzy got finished. she was stitched on 20ct aida two over one and is available from Heaven And Earth Designs.

And joining her in the finish pile is Piper Tir N Org with the stats as Izzy.

Consumed is now my main squeeze and is being stitched on 25ct laguna one over one. She was from Tilton Crafts but is now sadly retired.

I have had quite a few knitting finishes but the doll sleeping bags are my latest finishes. The purple yarn is from Spotlight and is from the mill ends and the multi colour was a Premier Yarns sweet roll.

My crochet finishes look like this and I'm on a bit of a star blanket kick at the moment. The red, yellow and black one is crocheted from Marvel Yarns. And the ducky one is also marvel yarn from spotlight.

And that is about it for now. I have three new stitching wips that I will show off next week when I take their latest progress shots.

I hope everyone is keeping well in these challenging times and I promise I will be back sooner then later.

Izzy & Consumed

Hi All,

Here is Princess Izzy this week

Have to love blocks of colour for fast progress lol

Consumed this week

Now her hair is coming in it is getting harder to only be working on her once a week but since my focus is on finishing Izzy it will have to do(oh the problems a stitcher faces)

I also used up a bit of my yarn stash with this lap sized crochet granny square rug with ate up six balls. With the kids on holidays for the past six weeks this was a great go to project with no concentration needed.

And in good news for me I haven't even replaced it...yet...

This and that

Hi All,

Here is Izzy this week. Now the unicorn is showing more it is making it harder to swap projects lol.

But I did and this Consumed with more brown.

But my fave project this week was a Lalaloopsy beanie for Hannah who gave it a big thumbs up.

The pattern is available on Etsy here and for a complete beginner like me it was very easy to follow.

Izzy

Hi All,

Here is Izzy with a page finish this week! So now the count is 16 down 20 to go.
If you look real closely you will even see 12 stitches of unicorn ear lol.

Consumed is still coming along slowly but surely.

I've also been practicing my crochet skills a bit more and added a border onto this blanket.

Piper

Hi All,

Here my Piper this week and oh how the confetti slows you down lol. But at least I'm getting some detail now.
My crochet is coming along and although I have only been learning for 5 weeks I already have two projects on the go
The corner to corner blanket which is slowly growing
I thought I would be ambitious and make it for our queen size bed.

And I started a granny square pinafore for Hannah. These are my first two granny squares.
Think I will start sewing those ends in as I go.

And I finished this lap sized blanket for an order this week. I love knitting these. So cosy.

And that does me for this week.

And Consumed is coming along nicely

And I'm happy to say that the crochet thing has finally clicked. I started this corner to corner crochet blanket.

This & That

Hi All,

It a bit of a mish mash today.

First up is Izzy.

Then Consumed

In the knitting department I wrapped up this order for a lady who makes Freddy Kruger teddy bears.

And I started crochet lessons this week and after I managed to convince my hands we were not knitting I made these hair ties.
