Bits and Pieces...

Hi All, I got a small finish this week with 'D' on Floral Beauty
I made a small start on 'E' for episcia
And how it looks s far
Izzy grew some more
And last but not least Santa's Boy Toys ornament
Bella has now settled in school a bit better this week with no tears for two days this week so fingers crossed for the rest of this week. My neice on the hand brought home her first bit of homework and is over the moon about. Her words-this is what school is about!. I sure she might change her mind in the next few years.

Faery Tales and Snowballs

Hi All, I actually had a finish this week. I made a snowball baby blanket(not for me). It knitted up fairly quickly.Cast on 44 stitches, knit 100 rows and cast of.
The only problem with this wool is that it does pull in a bit when you cast of.
Back to my first love now. Faery Tales is still going strong.
In other news we struck trouble this week when at the start of it Bella came home and told me she didn't like school , never wanted to go back and just wants to stay home with me. Which has meant every morning that I have dropped her of it has involved tears(hers and mine). Hopefully it will get a bit easier as the weeks pass but at the moment I think we are both dreading the mornings. But in better news Charlotte is toilet trained so I only have one in nappies now and a Barney dinosaur toy will be winging it's way to her soon.
Hope everyone has a great weekend,Sharine

Santa and Izzy

Hi All, Bella had a great first day at school. I on the other hand watched the clock all day, wondered what she was doing , if she remembered to have her sandwich for lunch and all the other things mummies worry about. When we went to pick her up the first words out of her mouth were that she had lost her hat and wasn't sure where her drink bottle was. And so it begins. Here is a photo of how we left her on Friday.
In the latest cross-stitching news Santa got worked on Saturday night.
And Princess Izzy
And what a difference to the eyes it makes going from 14ct aida to 20ct aida.
Cheers,Sharine
