Santa has arrived

Hi All,

Well he sorta has in a patch of red down the bottom kind of way.
That is his elbow so finally I feel like progress is being made.

The cardigan  I'm knitting for Hannah is almost finished. I think I'm going to have to get one more ball of wool just to make it a little longer.
A large hot pink button to finish it off should do the trick. And after checking the name of the wool it is Moda Vera Sorbet.

Back In Black

Hi All,

Here my update on Piper with nothing worked on but good old 310 with a few stitches done in 890.
Fascinating stuff right?lol. It will be back to Izzy next week so will see some color back.

Thank goodness for this with lots of colors to keep it interesting. I am just past the sleeves now. Although the pattern says to knit for another 14cm I usually like to make the backs a little longer to keep the kids warmer.
Have a great weekend,Sharine

New start off a different kind

Hi All,

A couple of week ago I started a cardigan for Hannah and keep forgetting to show it.
The pattern is called Kina and you find it here. The website is in French but if you run it through Google translate it is pretty easy to follow. Or if you are a member of Raverly you can find it on there. It is a bit of a difference from Barbie dresses where I usually cast on between 50 or so stitches to this where I'm currently working on 278. Although that said it is knit in one piece so it's not as bad as it seems.
The wool is from spotlight and I can't remember what it is called so will report back on that bit of info.( I keep thinking Sorrento?)

Santa is also a bit further along and is driving me a little nuts. I think it's the colors at the moment which are a bit drab.
Back to Piper tonight so look out for an update featuring nothing but black and 890:)
Cheers,Sharine
