New Stash...

Hi All, Don't you love it when there new stash waiting for you in your mailbox instead of bills? While searching for something else I came across these on Ebay and for the grand total of $7.99 they were mine.

This actually a needlepoint kit but I will cross stitch it instead. I'm still deciding on my favorite and there is a Christmas stocking to match but the only one I can find is around $75 on Ebay so that will have to wait a little while longer!

Friday Freebies and an Update

Evening wear for Barbie

Hi All, Just a couple more Barbie dresses knitted with horrible wool. It's got metallic threads woven through a black mohair like 3ply wool that just fluffed up into balls as I was knitting it. But when  Isabella found it in my Nan's old stash that I inherited after she passed she decided that it was just right for Barbie and of course with two little girls into Barbie one dress wasn't going to be enough so here they are in all there glory

as for the remaining wool Bella has very generously promised her cousin Kim and her  best friend at kinder Emma their very own so back to the needles.

First post for spring

Hi All, Here is my update on Faery Tales. I almost made it to the end but Hannah tried to push three teeth through last night and kept me busy.

After this there is still another 16 pages to go but all thing going well hopefully I can have this finished and hanging on the wall before the end of next year

Hi All,Last night while I was checking out everyone's updates I saw this on Bec's blog It's for the 2012 Wipocalypse and you can find out more by clicking here to go to Measi's Musings.It sounds like fun.
I am also going to borrow/steal an idea from ambitious stitches blog and do an august look back so here is Faery Tales at the start of august

so some progress has been made however unlike Lauren there is no way I am brave enough to show the backs!
