Everything else

Hi All,
As much as I love this time of year  I really don't like the mad rush it brings to get everything done.
At least I have my cross stitch to keep me sane(sort of).
I added more green to Izzy
I finished the stitching on Snowmobile Santa and started the backstitch
And I finished the other leaf on Floral Beauty and if you look above it and squint your eyes you might see a few dozen white stitches
HAED had another awesome sale this week. I picked up another Hannah Lynn this time. Pearl Princess.
This week at Charlotte's request we took the girls to see Santa. We waited patiently in line for about 20 minutes(better then last year when the wait was around a hour) and when we got to the front Charlotte decided against it, Bella jumped straight on to his knee and didn't let poor Santa get a word in and as for Hannah she let out a scream that made everyone turn around to see who was getting killed and didn't stop screaming until we were out of sight of him. I'm sure one day I will have a nice Santa photo of the three of them.
Cheers, Sharine

  1. Oh no poor Santa! Next year I'm sure Hannah will be brave enough to say hello to him & not scream at the sight of him :)
Your stitching looks great - I can see the white stitches :)

  3. I'm glad you have a bit of sanity in your stitching. *grins* It can be very relaxing in a time when everything is busy. The snowmobile is coming along nicely, and I love your Pearl Princess.

*giggles* Hopefully, you will get a picture of your three princesses with Santa before they move out.

  4. Sharine, please please stop showing your Hannah Lynn purchases - i am so good about avoiding the haed sales and then i come read your blog and there it is... yet another gorgeous Hannah Lynn design - then i sit there arguing with myself .. no don't .. but its gorgeous .. no don't, you can resist .. i just want to take a look see if the sale is still on .. look you can't stitch them all, this is ridiculous .. it won't hurt if i just look ... i am so weak - how do you control yourself and just buy one?

  6. Your stitching looks perfect and you have some great new stash. Sometimes Santa can be a little much for the very little ones. Maybe next year.

  7. Aww sweet post! My little boy, when he was 2 got scared of Santa when we took him to visit his grotto!!! He was fine when he gave him a little present though... Memories :)

  8. Wow great progress on your stitching Sharine! How cool is Snowmobile Santa. Love it.

Oh poor you re the Santa debacle. I completely avoid shopping centres on the weekends due to the amount of shrill screaming that occurs with all the kids around Santa. Luckily I'm a shift worker and can get to the shops whilst all the rug rats are at school. LOL!!
